BDP Travel Bass - Gianluca Renzi Signature - Sample recorded at the SunSide in Paris - Video
PUBLISHED:  Aug 16, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
I have been playing and developing this instrument with the precious collaboration of the Bottega di Parma, a fine string instruments shop in Italy and with the fundamental support of the designer Gionata Quercetani. The result is an incredible good sounding bass which can be fin it a case a little bigger than a tenor sax case for easy transportation ! No preamp needed and no batteries required! It uses a Fishman full circle pickup, tomastik spirocore light strings and all the sound issues has been solved by crafting the wood in the right way. This clip has been recorded August 15 2014 during a soundcheck at the SunSide Jazz Club in Paris. No equalization has been used on the amp. This is the sound of the instrument itself! I'm performing "The seagulls of Kristiansund" by Mal Waldron

This is the real solution for a traveling bass player! I have been using it for 3 years with great satisfaction!
