I am posting this mostly because there are so few examples of Emile-Frantz Sardet's voice in existence. This cylinder is in poor condition, but the brightness of his sound, so crucial to French operatic singing style, comes through. French This is Columbia 37642, probably from around 1908. Sardet died in 1913 at the age of thirty.
