Starting from radical improvisation, the band achieves to forge a sound which, today, is built on strong rock textures, guitar and drums based, on which a fluxus of outer sounds (old movies, old vinyls cut ups, noise streams and real time audio manipulations) ties and rages. In 2007 they release their self titled debut album, between noise and kraut rock, the themes being glorious (La Resistenza against fascism) and dark (’60 and ’70 state terrorism) moments of contemporary italian history. In 2009, with the second album “Comunicato n.2”, the music gets more brutal and heavy, while the band gives voice back to those who have tried to revolt against the inhuman capitalist world order.
From 2007 to these days, Fuzz Orchestra has been performing live in c.a. 200 shows around Italy, Europe and USA.
Partendo dall'improvvisazione radicale, la band arriva alla definizione di un suono basato su strutture di matrice rock, prodotte da batteria e chitarra, su cui si innestano contributi da film e vecchi vinili, flussi noise e manipolazioni audio in tempo reale.
Nel 2007 esce il primo e omonimo lavoro, musiche istintive e taglienti in bilico tra kraut rock e noise, innervate da narrazioni che ricordano e rivisitano momenti gloriosi (la Resistenza) ed oscuri (lo stragismo) della storia contemporanea d’Italia.
Febbraio 2009 vede l’uscita del secondo disco, Comunicato n.2i: il sound si ispessisce e diventa pi� brutale, i contenuti seguono a ruota e ridanno voce a soggetti e momenti di rivolta che pure hanno caratterizzato, per quanto oggi appaia incredibile, tempi molto prossimi ai nostri.
Dal 2007 ad oggi la Fuzz Orchestra ha suonato in circa 200 concerti tra Italia, Europa ed USA.
