Following in the footsteps of Keeley's classic Fuzz Head, this is the all new Keeley Electronics Son of Fuzz Head. Son of Fuzz Head takes the vintage-tinged fuzz and organic drive sounds of its predecessor and kicks them up a notch, adding a tube-like JFET front end, and following it with a sweet germanium-based gain stage. Per customer requests, the pedal's tone control has been conveniently relocated to the face of the enclosure, and tweaked slightly for enhanced tone shaping capabilities. The Son's toggle switch lets the user remove diode clipping from the circuit, switching easily from full-on fuzz assault to warm, dynamic overdrive tones. Last but not least, Son of Fuzz Head features stunning art work by Calvin Schenkel, creator of the art for many of Frank Zappa's best-loved albums, as well as Captain Beefheart's classic Trout Mask Replica.
