Ceilings formed in summer 2013 from that extra-glass of whiskey and a band playing Tool's covers in the background.
Andrea Di Pilato (voice), Simone Mel and Mattia Caritè (guitars) start working on the composition of some tracks, inspired to the aforementioned act and other bands of the same scene, with some escapades in heavier neighborhoods where, in the nineties, Chino Moreno and company used to hang out, once some crazy five coming from Bakersfield, CA had opened them the way.
In these ravines joins Mattia Buonadonna on bass, followed, some time later, Jordi Costa on drums.
In the first year the band focused in finding a real musical direction, reaching at one point to a jump of genre decisively towards modern deathcore/metalcore, trying to maintain and refurbish, though it may be difficult, this romantic malaise that flowed in nineties' numetal.
Later Besjan Pulaj joined the band, taking Jordi's place. He is a old fellow of Andrea and Buonadonna, ready to weigh even more the musical style of the band, which, in the meantime, in November 2014, ascended to Fusix Studio for the recording of two singles.
Now, in 2016 the band is releasing its first EP called "A Place To Rest", after going back in the studio in September.
