DESCRIPTION: We were successful in getting off Methane immediately using this idea.. Super important for a livable biosphere. Total cost was about $100 - This was a total stop gap method. We have been off Methane since this filming. In November 2015 we installed a Ducane electric furnace. It now sits where the methane furnace used to sit. Still a very inexpensive solution - $600. Much cheaper than say a full blown heat pump system.
