"The Jolly Boys were a Jamaican folk band who performed a variant of Calypso music known as Mento.  The Jollys have been featured on Putamayo Records compilations of Caribbean music, and in the recently-released documentary Marley (as an example of what Bob Marley would've listened to while growing up).  Funzalo Record's videos of The Jolly Boys performances filmed in Jamaica and New York in the late 1980s & early 1990s.
