Sky To Speak consists of two members - Matej Kotoucek (ex-fungitrash) who has been a music producer for many years, and Ondrej Synacek (ex-soxoo) who takes care of the visual aspect of the music experience.
The full character of music lays in the live performance although much of the effort is put into preparation. The creative process is not divided on visual and musical part, both members influence and inspire each other.
Album titled Film is the result of a new approach to music and visuals which culminated from the previous project called fungitrash. The new stuff is less beat oriented and driven towards atmospheric situations.

The inspirations our countless but few names are worth mentioning: Cocteau Twins, Bark Psychosis, Tycho, People Like Us, Eleven Tigers, Grouper, Emeralds, Labradford, Harold Budd and much more.
Sky To Speak are trying to approach the audiovisual piece by stressing a sort of situational and temporal nostalgy while being careful not to slip into too much pathos by using humor or surreal imagery. Recontextualization plays big part of their performance as well (using stock footage, noise and concrete sounds).
They are one of those people who create their stuff with two laptops, visuals are ocassionaly spiced up by using analog VCR or live synths.
