Friend/Enemy was a loosey-goosey band started by Tim Kinsella and Todd Mattei of Joan of Arc. I contributed the occasional bass and/or guitar line to Friend/Enemy, and was the bass-player on the lone US tour.

Here we have "Teeny Comealong" from the LP "10 Songs" (2002 Perishable Records). Engineered by Graeme Gibson at Clava Studio, Chicago.

*FUN FACT* = An experiment in spontaneity, Friend/Enemy was our fun little way of not having to worry about band-practice. For this particular song Tim surprised me with a phone-call and said I was needed at the recording studio ASAP to record a bass-line for a song I had never heard (he was acting as my friend/enemy). The image you see is my first attempt at fucking around with some shit I downloaded in hopes of making some fucked-up looking shit. The resulting picture is more proof I will probably die homeless and penniless in some type of unexpected fiery explosion.
