DESCRIPTION:
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS Vintage AKAI GX-635D GX Focused Field Reel to Reel Made in Late 1970's. This deck has 3 Motors, Auto Reverse, Direct Capstan Drive with BOTHWAY Recording, Feather Touch Logic Control, One Touch.

This deck is in Near Mint and I'm being Picky. No Scratches anywhere on the face. Only 3 places that I can find has a defect. The number "6" for the Line Control knob has a tiny part missing, and the word "Line" itself, the "L" is missing a fleck and the letter "E" is also missing part of the letter. That's IT on the face. The Wooden sides are Really in Great shape with only a few spots on the backside edge that has a slight laminate issue. All can be seen in the pictures.

This is 2 Channel, 4 Track Deck. 6 Heads and Direct Drive. Takes Reel sizes up to 10 1/2 Inches .

Two Speed deck, 3 3/4 and 7 1/2 ips. All 6 Heads are in great shape. This deck has a "PITCH CONTROL" which some that do CD Conversions find In-Dispensable. Converting a Tape on a machine that played a little Slow or Fast, ---------*PITCH CONTROL for the WIN !

Rewind, Fast Forward, Play, Record, Pause, Auto Reverse, and Counter All working Nicely. Pinch Roller is near Perfect.

This deck uses the Twist Reel Locks so No rubber reel holders to keep track of. Proud Looking Deck.
All Knobs, tape guides, etc are complete and original. Small tiny dent on the reverse selector at the corner, again, see pictures.

All LED's Work including the RECORD, PAUSE, Both PLAY Buttons, Record Mute, RECORD MODE LED's and the Meter Lamps all work as they should, Like New.
