Cabaret Band "Serebryanaya Svadba" ("Silver Wedding")
This musical-theatrical group was formed in 2005. A vivid company including guitar, bass, trumpet, trombone, violin, concertina, washing board and drums led by a tube prepares unusual cocktails of French chanson, Dixieland, country, Russian folk music and Latin rhythms in the manner of a street band directly in front of the audience. During all their live shows the musicians are accompanied by countless adventure suitcases full of circus and kitchen utensils, bottles of various shapes and content, lingerie, ruthless Dog Baskerville with burning eyes, Leech Woman robbing men to the last thread, an inhabitant of Paris catacombs, a blonde Rat Emmanuel Kant and fan cleavage Monsieur Grach.
The repertoire includes songs in Russian and French, ironic, paradoxical, life-affirming, with the elements of buffoonery, Dolls Theater and cabaret.
At the present moment the geography of the concert does not cover only Belarusian cities. "Serebryanaya Svadba" has already made concerts in Moscow, Vladimir, Stavropol, Rostov-na-Donu, Taganrog, Krasnodar, St.Petersburg, Kiev, Warsaw, Vilnius and Paris. The musicians traveled to Germany, Holland, and they also participated in various music and theater festivals, such as the "Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts in Warsaw"(2006), "Empty Hills "(2007, 2008) in Moscow, Metafest (2007) near Samara, Cap a L Est (2007) in Nantes (France), Jazz Koktebel 2009 in Koktebel.
The group also creates the music for movies and theatrical stages.
