Fraser Anderson has recently released his third album, Little Glass Box. The Scotland-born singer-songwriter learned his trade amongst the Scottish Folk scene, performing with Dougie MacLean as a vocalist and supporting Joan Armatrading, The Low Anthem and Chuck Berry in concerts around Britain and France.

Now based in France, Fraser's album, Little Glass Box, is a retro folk-R&B exploration recorded with world class musicians Danny Thompson on double bass (John Martyn, Nick Drake), Dick Pearce on trumpet (Ronnie Scott Quintet), Martin Ditcham on percussion (Sade) and Max Middleton on Rhodes piano (Jeff Beck, John Martyn). The result is an album that is sensitive and mature, crafted with a lyrical and melodic honesty that welcomes the listener into the spaces of Fraser's world; rich with emotional and life experience.

Fraser has played live sessions for Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2, Radio Scotland and The Thistle & Shamrock show, broadcast on NPR. In January 2010, he did a live BBC set alongside Natalie Merchant and her band for Celtic Connections.

His previous albums include the girl with the strawberry… hailed by music journalist and musician Dave Arcari as a "masterpiece". His second album, Coming up for air, was described by Bob Harris BBC Radio 2 as "truly beautiful".

As a performer, Fraser empties his heart into the spotlight in a way that is entirely his own, with an intimacy that has been compared to musicians James Taylor, Joni Mitchell and Ray LaMontagne.

Fraser will be performing an acoustic showcase tour in New York, appearing at Banjo Jim's May 8th, a sneaky performance at the Bowery Peotry Club May 9th and a showcase at The Livingroom on Ludlow, May 10th. On May 13th, Fraser will be supporting James Keelaghan at Hugh's Room in Toronto, Canada and from there will be playing several festivals and shows throughout Europe.

Additional tour dates to be announced shortly.
