DESCRIPTION:
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Chicago's Lakland bass company, native son and Lakland's bass ambassador Frank Russell, performed this original at the factory's Open House, October 18, 2014.
Video shot with the generous help of Nyq Bonaventura on 4 Lumix GH-2s, 2 with 14-140mm stock lenses, others with Zuiko 9-18mm, and Rokinon 7.5mm. Audio recorded on 2 Tascam DR-40s onboard mics.
Along with Vijay Tellis-Nayak on keyboard, Marco Villarreal on guitar, and Charles Heath drums, was Lakland CEO John Pirruccello, an accomplished musician himself, on pedal steel.
The song was written by Frank Russell and Vijay Tellis-Nayak.
