With their their roots in classical music and hearts in jazz and East European folk music, Minimal Klezmer create a unique sound combining the pious as well as festive natures of traditional Jewish melodies. In their original arrangements played by mainly 'portable' and acoustic instruments reminiscent of small klezmer groups captured in recordings from the early 20th century, Minimal Klezmer make use of all of the possibilities of expression and improvisation of their acoustic line-up.
