About This Release:

Passionate about hardware and old skool gear, Fracture and Neptune use equipment like the classic Emu 6400 sampler, valve compressors and outboard reverb to emulate, adapt and distort 90's sonics. Having a strong ethos based in the 'feel' of their music makes for strong and engaging releases. With the re-emergence of D&B and the huge creative capacity this is the ideal time for a label with such genre-pushing potential.
The organic textures of 'Dust Ball' develop over a back bone of tight, snappy beats and an ever evolving bassline while 'The Trunk' sees the duo fuse tough 80s drum machines with edgy science fiction atmospheres and heavy low-end to create a paranoid stepper for the floor.
