DESCRIPTION:
The Flowers Of Hell are a trans-atlantic experimental ensemble based in Toronto and London. Symphony No.1 was composed and produced by the group's leader Greg Jarvis, Jarvis has synesthesia, which causes him to see all sounds as abstract shapes - visions which he's brought to life for others to see by self-animating videos for several portions of the symphony. The work features vocals from opera soprano Danie Friesen.
