Flood Waters Rising is a song inspired by the likes of Iron and Wine, Calexico, Marty Robbins and Merle Haggard. The song talks about getting flooded out of your home and some of the ensuing adventures that follow. This is the first song on the record, "Currents" which was released in December 2009.
