DESCRIPTION:
Recorded 3/27/2013: retronyms iMPC 1.1 crashes / hangs on a simple 175BPM pattern. At first I thought it was a problem with the Akai Pro MPC Fly hardware as shown here, but as you can see in the companion video 2 of 2 it happens when the ipad2 is not connected to the hardware, so the problem is apparently caused by iMPC. It's possible that it could still be caused by recording the pattern in the MPC Fly. The problem is reproducible: it happens again when I erase the pattern, reinstall iMPC, reinstall IOS, and enter the same (or similar 175bpm) pattern from scratch. The bottom line is I have a piece of hardware that set me back $200 that's blowing up because it depends on a $6 iPad app.
