People ask why Flamin Souljaz? The name is inspired by Deuteronomy 20:1-4. Because we on fire for Christ and we some Souljaz in the army fighting for who we are. We are not "rappers" we are Ministers of the Gospel that bring the word of God through the Ministry of rap music.

Beginnings
Flamin Souljaz is a vision birthed out of their leader Jake Mendez, the vision was birthed about 13 years ago when L.P. was only 12 though he had some rough times he is now walking in the vision that God has placed inside of him. The Flamin Souljaz started with five members, one lady and four guys: Wizdom, Sealed Soulja, J.E.D.I., Witness of the Spirit and Lyrikal Profet.

Albums
Flamin Souljaz released their debut album "Demon Murdera" in 2002. Their latest record entitled "Follow You" is released in 2008.
