MAKE BELIEVE "Wild Science, Wild Signs" - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jan 15, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
Make Believe was a band I played guitar in between 2004 and 2008. We released 3 full-length records, one EP, one 7-inch, and one 10-inch.

Here we have "Wild Science, Wild Signs" from our first full-length album, "Shock of Being" (2005 Flameshovel Records). Engineered by Steve Albini at Electrical Audio.

*FUN FACT* = The drones you hear throughout this song were created by Nate using a lovely MELLOTRON. A mellotron is an electro-mechanical, polyphonic tape replay keyboard built in England in the early 1960's. Among the first mellotron owners were Princess Margaret, Peter Sellers, King Hussein of Jordan and Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. Also, the little picture embedded in the video is a screenshot from my short-film, "Sudden Porthole". Sudden Porthole is a documentary about the time I inadvertently filmed a hyper-dimensional beam atop the mountains of Taos, New Mexico. The film in it's entirety can be found at youtube.com/jagbodhi.
