Firefay

Like all good things it's taken some time for Firefay to take shape as a band. It all started with Carole & Béné meeting in London and starting writing songs together, with Adam's help on guitar and arrangements. Other people joined, came and went, and some stayed, too. We wrote a lot, we discarded a lot, we learned a lot on the way, too. Béné went back to France, and Carole finally decided to sing her own words. Storytelling mixed with wyrd folk, Middle Eastern flavours, other things that would be difficult to define, and still a bit of France, somewhere in there. Samir has now joined us for some bass playing/enlightened pieces of advice.
