As a big supporter of his key remixes (notably Wretch 32's "Traktor"), Annie Mac crowned him as the man who has brought UK Garage back to the masses. Mike Delinquent Project is undoubtedly one of the driving forces behind the progression of the UK Garage scene and is back with a bang and at his best yet as he drops his debut solo album “Bridging The Gap”.

'Bridging The Gap' is a demonstration of what happens when Mike teams up with the most talented artists in the UK music scene. A body of work fulfilling Mike's philosophy of combining energetic music with strong songs. A collection of tracks which many would state define a key era within the evolution of Garage & Bass music.

As well as familiar favourites like “Out Of Control” featuring KCAT & Donae’o, “Mama Said” featuring Mikill Pane; Mike also brings us powerful collabs with Mz Bratt & C4 ("No Feeling"), Scrufizzer, (Oi Rudeboy) and talented vocalist Daniel De Bourg (Up All Night). If that wasn’t enough, British hip hop’s Queen of the scene Lady Leshurr drops some bars on “Step In The Dance” whilst rapper Wiley joins Mike on ever popular “Wiggle (Movin’ Her Middle)”.

'No Feeling' sees an effective combination of jungle-esque beat patterns with reggae one drop break downs and a big solid bassline. Laced with bars from Mz Bratt & C4, the track is complete with KCAT on anthemic chorus duties.

'Oi Rudeboy' sees Grime MC Scrufizzer at his lyrical best with flows sitting perfectly on Mike's orchestral instrumental. Plenty of bass and attitude here!

Mike shows his versatility by serving up the sultry "Up All Night" featuring the smooth, exquisite vocals of Daniel De Bourg. Mike Delinquent Project throws down a production with RnB led guitar riffs, and whilst the vocals are intricately arranged, Mike reminds us of his Garage influences with a naughty switch up at the end.
