Flowers for Jimmy ist eine 7-köpfige Ska-Punk-Rock Band aus dem Osten der Steiermark/Österreich. Die Band startete im August 2005. Mit der endgültig fixierten Besetzung (vox, guitar, bass, drums, 2 trumpets, trombone) und den ersten 10 selbst produzierten Songs, spielte FFJ ihre erste Show im September 2006. Ein paar Monate später wurden die ersten beiden Demo-Songs aufgenommen. Danach folgten eine Menge Gigs, unter anderem Shows in Graz und Wien mit Bands wie Jaya the Cat, Phinius Gage, Bloodsucking Zombies FOS, No Head On My Shoulders, ASTPAI, RX Bandits… . Anfang 2007 erreichte FFJ den 5. Platz beim Südösterreichfinale des Local Heroes Band-Wettbewerbs. Ein weiteres Highlight in der Bandgeschichte war ein Auftritt beim Supercamp in Mannheim/Deutschland vor ca. 1000 begeisterten Zuschauern. Im Herbst 2007 verlässt Fabian die Band und Ersatz wurde in Cis gefunden, der nun für den Gesang zuständig ist.

Flowers for Jimmy is a 7-men Ska-Punk-Rock band from east side Styria/Austria. They started out to practice in august 2005. With the final line-up (vox, guitar, bass, drums, 2 trumpets, trombone) and their first 10 own produced songs, FFJ played the first show in September 2006. A few months later two demo-songs were recorded. After that a lot of gigs, under them shows in Graz and Vienna with bands like Jaya the Cat, Phinius Gage, Bloodsucking Zombies FOS, No Head On My Shoulders, ASTPAI, RX Bandits… , followed. In spring 2007 FFJ reached the 5th place at the South-Austria-Final of the Local Heroes band contest. Another highlight was a show at the Supercamp in Mannheim/Germany in front of 1000 skankin’ people. In late 2007 Fabian left the band and Cis joined the band as leadsinger.
