DESCRIPTION:
This year won't be Federale's first trip to Pappy and Harriet's for Desert Stars Festival. Fronted by Collin Hegna, longtime bass player of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, their spaghetti western epic sound seems only fitting to echo through the desert. Their music has been featured alongside Ana Lily Amirpour's breakout film A Girl Walk Home Alone at Night, and will again make a presence on the upcoming The Bad Batch. Armed with new material via their album All The Colours of The Dark, out 9/9/16 on Death Waltz Originals, Federale brings a new dynamic akin to classic Lee Hazelwood to their sound, filling out their full instrumentals with tales of murder on the trail. They've got stories to tell from festivals passed, and one of them was even peed on.
