Summer sees the return of Favouritizm's Deep-house golden boy, Tony Barbato, armed with Italian fuoco and ready to burn the house down with his brand new 4 track release, 'The Tuscan EP'. 'Give Me' opens shop with a smouldering deep bass and tribal edged groove, laced with a haunting chant and cut up vocal hooks that give way to a gigantic breakdown! 'Pharda is deep and chunky with an old school house twist, packed bouncing beats and cheeky warm synth stabs; meanwhile, 'Walkin' On Music's shimmies down a deep hypnotic path, oozing with seductive percussive beats for the dancers. Finishing off the package with some sublime Latin spirit is 'Rioja' which, just like the wine, is warm and fruity to the senses and carries earthy notes!

In Autum 2011, Italian producer / DJ Tony Barbato released his Favouritizm debut 'Hoben' which reached No. 3 on Traxsource.com (video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y98KiV88GMI). This was followed by 'Jump' in March 2012 again hitting the NO.3 chart spot, gaining radio, press and top DJ support around the globe. Tony's releases have been championed by some of the World's top house DJ's including Tony Humphries, Aki Bergen, Jask, Groove Assassin, Richard Earnshaw to name a few as he begins to build some serious momentum with his release schedule in 2012. Tony first started Djing in and around Italy in the late 90's. In 2001 he landed at the console of the Tartana Club (one of the most important house clubs in the country) for 'Souvenir de Ibiza' where he made a huge impression, gaining a residency for the next season. Tony is known for the incredible energy he irradiates from behind the decks during his sets, delivering big deep house sounds with a Latin twist. In 2005 he teamed up with fellow Italian producer Alex Vanni to create the electro-house duo "Mono". Mono had big success with their first EP 'Flowers' on Rewind Records, which gained the support by big name jocks including John Digweed, Alex Neri and Steve Lawler who use it in his "Lights Out 2" compilation. Since then Mono have released tracks including 'Istanbul EP', Florence EP', Out Of Time', 'Kilt Of Africa EP' and many more on labels including Revox, Black Strawberry and CR2. As well as their own productions Mono have also remixed tracks by Roger Sanchez and Pasta Boys. In 2005 Tony secured a new DJ residency at Marula Beach - a soulful club on the beach of his hometown in Follonica where he plays every Friday night, in addition to his new Summer monthly residency at Tartana starting in July. Tony has graced the decks of many Tuscan clubs over the years from Tenax, ExMud, Central Park and Frau e Costes, among others and also some of the biggest clubs in Italy including Plastic (Milan), Magazinni Generali (Milano) and Doc Show (Bologna). He's also the official deejay of Cannavera Party (Cagliari, Sardinia) and earlier this year he played at famous house-club Djoon in Paris. Tony hosts a monthly radio show on the Radio Espana Network and also does regular guest shows around the world.
