The 6th release on Soulfinder's Sleepless Nights imprint is out this week and it sees new remixes coming for the labels first ever release. The 'Global Communication' EP was released exactly one year ago and it contained to excellent originals from Soulfinder and fellow Irish producer Vincent Furlong. Supplying the new remixes here are US producer Nick Stoynoff and UK producer Simon Firth.

Nick Stoynoff's mix of Soulfinder's 'Satellite Circus' leads the EP off. Nick has had a great 2012 thus far with recent releases on Manual, Afterglow and Proton as well as remixing the classic Lazonby - 'Sacred Cycles' for Molecule Records. We always love Nick's stuff and were thrilled when we saw this one come into the pool. Currently sitting at number 1 in our overall Hype Chart Nick has certainly delivered a great interpretation of 'Satellite Circus'. A warm rolling groove lays down the foundation as layers of hazy atmospheres slowly build around the piece. A prominent yet softly textured stab and energetic drums form a great groove while Nick's unique electronics highlight the mix. A subtle melodic lead is soon introduced which comes with a very celestial vibe that's carried through to the breakdown. It's a short interlude of glistening electronics that tease the senses and raise the tension just enough for the groove to reappear and finish the record extremely strong. Superb stuff from Nick as always.

The second track on the EP finds Simon Firth remixing Vincent Furlong's 'Lost Words'. Simon has certainly been one of the most prolific progressive house producers over the course of the last couple of years with over with over 120 releases since the beginning of 2011 and recent appearances on Mistique, OLD SQL, Green Snake, Stripped and LuPS. Simon's delivered one of his coolest reworks in recent memory on 'Lost Words'. Rooted with a big wall of sub bass that comes with some really original and hook heavy chord changes the piece builds with a cool sequences of stabs and a killer hypnotic line that sits perfectly as the swirling atmospheric elements work their magic surrounding the piece which carry it to a nice climax. A very strong package from Soulfinder's Sleepless Nights and congrats to the them for a great first year. Release Promo Hype Chart #1
