The EYO'NLE group was established under the leadership of eight young musicians, whose motivation is to enhance the Beninese music beyond the borders of Benin in producing modern music based on traditional rhythms the country.
EYO'NLE is a band decorated brass percussion . His music draws on GOUN , YORUBA cultures and TORRI southeast of the country.
Training has ingeniously combine this heritage street music -oriented festival with one hand Beninese musical tradition found in percussion and also a very jazzy style in the arrangement of brass .
Feet in the tradition head in modernism . The book therefore reflects the duality of the Beninese man today , close to its roots , traditions and approaches of modern life with its problems. The group's repertoire is as varied in style as the content . While percussion rhythm brass, singing them, stick to the current sociological : democracy, AIDS , youth unemployment ... These songs also celebrate traditional entertainment, voodoo ceremonies , ritual funeral rites of initiation . The live performances are very invigorating .
