This is an interesting one...

When "Fall Of Rome" was released in Australia 1987, the record company was obviously worried that the intro would deter some radio stations from playing the track...
...essentially, the intro brought nothing to the party, other than some noisy guitar.

To overcome this potential issue, a special Radio Edit 45 was pressed and sent to Aussie radio stations...
...one side had the full version, with intro, but, the flipside had the intro cut off and started straight into the music.

The singing still needed subtitles, but, the dramatic guitar work, before the actual music, had been cut off!
This 45 was never available to the public.

This upload is the shortened version from that original 'radio edit' 45...Australian Capitol RPS 23.
