FAKTOR X
Overtaken by 70's disco and 80's pop music as a young child, and having literally grown up with electronic dance music, Factor-X was left with one single choice to follow in music --even despite his inclinations to play the drums, or learning the guitar. Faktor-X soon became one of Eastern Europe's best upcoming electronic music Djs/producers. He dropped his first vinyl release in 2006 on Steve Bug's label Audiomatique, the track also featured on 'Audiomatique Volume 1.0' alongside the works of Trentemoller, Adultnapper, Rob Acid, Robag Wruhme, The Wighnomy Brothers, Jussi-Pekka, Martinez, Alexi Delano & Fernando Gullon, or John Dahlb?ck. He received a remix request for Japanese vocalist Yoko K's song "Searching", out on Drastic Plastic. Yoko famed back then for touring with Rob Garza, one of the Thievery Corporation duo. He also appeared on Belgrade Coffee Shop Vol. 6., a compilation presenting an array of probably the finest underground club tunes of Serbia.

His two-track solo appearance on Stupendous records also deserves mention, with the immediate reward of new Factor-X devotees. Later collaborations with Alex Flatner and label, brought along the three tracker EP 'Sender' on New League in 2007, with two of the tracks featured on compilations of New League and Tronic Soundz as well. More releases are in the pipe-line with Boomerang Fish, and Circle Music, along side a remix for Marko Nasti? label, Traffica. Recognized mostly for his outstanding studio works, Factor-X actively presents Dj sets at a number of venues, clubs and festivals, having already made three appearances at Europe's top festival event, Exit Festival. Engaged in the dance music scene for over a decade, he has organized numerous parties, and hosted weekly radio shows. Recently turning his main focus to both production and DJ-ing, he had to make the tough decision to give up his lasting adherence to vinyl. Now gone hundred percent digital, he's free to play out any fresh, yet unreleased material of his own, immaculately blurring the boundaries between live act and Dj performance.
