Faada Ras

Faadaras grew up during the sound system years of the seventies when he used to do what was then called toasting on the mikes of sounds like, Imperial I, Upsetters,Turbo Charge, and as a guest on Young Lion Saxon, and in Jamaica Peoples Choice.
Faadaras fronted a band Called Majestic during the 80s touring England, Scotland and Wales alongside bands such as Misty in Roots and Aswad, gaining valuable live experience
The nineties saw Faadaras on the road as part of a tour management team with Daddy Freddy, Shabba, Tenna Fly, Cutty Ranks and others.
At the start of the millennium Faadaras from his own studio base was involved with various youth music projects training a new generation of talent as a way of giving something back to the community
Since 2005 he has worked on his own projects putting together his first Album,De Original Roots with street and internet sales that worked fast forward to 2011 Faadaras has reformed the majestic and is putting together a live album while touring and spreading the love musically, and building a live following
