After Luigi Madonna's massive "In the Box" EP in December, Fergie's Excentric Muzik label begins 2013 with an explosive four track release from Jason Fernandes, which includes a killer collaboration with The Advent.

London-based UK artist Jason Fernandes (accompanied by The Advent) supplies Excentric Muzik's first release of 2013. Jason returns to the label after making his debut in June with a well received remix of Fergie's "Rockin Muzik", supported by Kaiserdisco, Nicole Moudaber, Karotte, Tom Findlay, Jon Gurd and Patrick Siech amongst others. Having previously released on key labels throughout 2011 such as Adam Beyer's Drumcode, Mauro Picotto's Alchemy, Tom Hades' Rhythm Convert(ed) and Sasha Carassi's Phobiq, 2012 saw Jason take it to the next level with the release of his debut album "Forget Expectation" and the launch of his new "Vacant" alias.

He is joined on the on the title track of the EP by his regular collaboration partner The Advent (aka Cisco Ferreira), an artist with a rich and illustrious past that certainly deserves much more than a brief summary in a press release to do it justice. However what we can say here is that with his present day productions, live sets and the operation of his Kombination Research label (not to mention his work with Industrialyzer) he continues to push the boundaries of Techno, with expertise.

The "Through The Looking Glass EP" is comprised of four dark and hypnotic Techno cuts for the late-night hours. Title track "Through The Looking Glass" is an intense work-out, a track full of serious groove and energy that just doesn't know when to stop. "Mind, Body & Soul" effortlessly grinds along on an equally boundless journey with an uncompromising and atmospheric vibe contained within. The relentless "Guess" carefully builds throughout whilst a powerful all-conquering groove takes control and refuses to let go. The EP is rounded off with the deep and dubby (but no less immense) "Troublemaker".
