He's one of the finest bass players around. Born in Cameroon, Etienne Mbappé is first of all a resident member in John McLaughlins band The 4th Dimension. Besides that, he has released the fabulous solo album "Pater Noster" on which Mbappé presents his African heritage combined with a gorgeous singer/songwriter flavour. No fusion but great worldmusic in its own right.
