Don’t miss Erin Schwab’s eclectic, exciting brand of cabaret at this very special installment of Live at Five. Featuring a diverse cross-section of styles ranging from rock to jazz to show tunes, Schwab will be joined onstage by longtime performing partner Dr. Jay Fuchs (Dept. Head, Music Theory) and the MSCM Theater Ensemble as she says farewell after 13 fantastic years of teaching at McNally Smith College of Music.

In addition to her tireless efforts in McNally Smith’s Vocal and Ensemble departments (including founding the MSCM Theater and Pop ensembles), Schwab has worked in the Twin Cities theater and music scene for the last two decades. For the last 15 years, she and fellow MSCM faculty member Fuchs have performed together at private events, fundraisers and Twin Cities venues including Jitters, Hell’s Kitchen, Honey, Mattie’s On Main, Chanhassen Dinner Theater, and Mixed Blood Theater. Schwab has been voted “Best Twin Cities Entertainer” by Lavender Magazine numerous times.

Live at Five begins with a 5:00 p.m. reception featuring free appetizers and a performance by Lavender Daughter, a surf/grunge/indie rock band featuring current students and alumni.
