Brethoniques - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 07, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
Popular music around the world are confronted with western music (jazz, funk, blues, rock etc ...). Following the example of Ethiopian music popularized in Europe by the Ethiopiques, Antonin Volson and Eric Menneteau decided to perpetuate the magnificent repertoire of Central Brittany, accompanied by an implacable rhythm section (Jonathan Caserta and Jeff Alluin), and a talented traditional section (Alan Letenneur and Youenn Lange singing and treujenn-gaol). The result is called Brethoniques and is not a mixture or a juxtaposition of styles. This is the power of Central Brittany!
