Era Nova is a French heavy metal band created in Nantes, in 2002. Successively called Road to Pacifica (2002), Storma (2003), Alcyon (2004), and Era Nova (2005), the band, for most of its existence, has consisted of vocalist Andréas Martin, lead & rhythm guitarist Christophe Buys, bassist Benjamin Cointreau, keyboard player Pierre Chauty, and drummer Emmanuel Colombier. Greg Dutein (ex Ultra Vomit) joined the band in 2009 as the second guitarist.
In 2005, Era Nova released the Sin Eater demo.
In 2008 and 2009, the band has recorded its first album at the Drudenhaus Studio (Ultra Vomit, Anorexia Nervosa, GTI, etc).
