This is peat's old bio if you don't know him

Epileptic Peat is comprised of one seven-foot-tall woodsman. He plays the 8 string bass as well as other instruments to make a noise that it distinctly his. Epileptic Peat writes all his own material but can also be heard covering pieces from Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, Brahms and your dusty but beloved NES. Epileptic Peat specializes in a tapping-fretting style of playing reminiscent (sic) of Michael Manring, Victor Wooten, Michael Hedges and Les Claypool. He also incorporates spoken word/prose into these almost instrumental songs. Epileptic Peat's first album was released in August 2004 under Shaman Records (Philadelphia). "The Minstrel and the Shill" was recorded at Seventh Wave Studios in Harrisburg, PA and CUE Studios in Washington D.C The CD was mixed by Jason Rubal and mastered by John Golden whose work can be seen in the albums of Primus, Sonic Youth, The Melvins and SuperChunk.

In 2005-2006, Epileptic Peat was also commissioned to write a score and soundtrack for the independent movie "Repairing James" written and directed by Jeremy Zerachak.

"Ghost Notes" was written and recorded in 2007-2008. It is a stripped down and more poignant version of Epileptic Peat's music. The album was written, recorded, mixed and mastered all by Epileptic Peat.

Epileptic Peat has since begun releasing a 32 CD album entitled "Kingdom/Phylum". The first 16 discs entitled "Earth" (released one at a time) are due to be released by 2013. The second set entitled "Sea" will be done by 2017. It will be his 'Mr. Hollands Opus'.

In the meantime Epileptic Peat is releasing a stand alone full length album of all original material. He can also be seen working with video game project "This Place is Haunted": A 6 year project boasting 7 albums of video game, tv and movie arrangements. His other project is entitled "You Bred Raptors?" A collaborative effort with a drummer/vibraphonist.
