The Chains - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jul 08, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
"Daughters of Man" and "Sons of Man", with "Man", in the highest sense as "the image and likeness of God" before God did that rib thing, is what we are. The struggle to break free from the chains of mortal existence and the steps that must be taken to obtain a Soul. And if you were listening carefully, I am not saying that I am God, but rather that we are all "Daughters of Man" and "Sons of Man", with "Man" in the highest sense as "the image and likeness of God" before God did that rib thing.
G. I. Gurdjieff in "Meetings with Remarkable Men" quotes professor Skridlov, "Apart from the vanities of life, there exists a 'something else' which must be the aim and ideal of every more or less thinking man. and that it only this 'something else' which may make a man really happy ... instead of the illusory 'goods with which in ordinary life he is always and in everything full."
We must heed the warning of the biologist and agnostic Jean Rostand, who said, "Science has made us gods even before we are worthy of being men." Unless META-physics can catch up to physics, the world will be destroyed by SOUL-less people.
