The live show is a compound of dancefloor sounds, with drum-n-bass, hip hop, grimey dancehall and electronic breakbeat. Their songs reflect myriad influences from Roni Size Reprazent to Radiohead, from Naftule Brandwein to Nas.
The live sound of Filthy Kicks is led by the raucous, muscular backing of Beat's Boy's live drums and layers of dirty synths courtesy of Dr Turze and Mr Heap, kicked and throttled by scalpel-sharp rap from Ibrahim Sha'ath, and sweetened by Violeta Barrena's virtuoso violin and the enchanting vocals of Jana Skene.
