The Sonic Explorations video series from Stompbox Sonic highlights the distinct playing style of a featured artist and the unique aural properties of a given pedal or pedals. It allows the viewer to see, to hear, to feel the creative process unfold.

This clip features David Michael Curry on viola. David records and performs with Thalia Zedek, the Willard Grant Conspiracy and the Empty House Cooperative.

He ran his viola through EarthQuaker Devices' Terminal Fuzz, Organizer Polyphonic Organ Emulator, Pitch Bay Polyphonic Harmonizer and Disaster Transport SR Advanced Modulated Delay & Reverb Machine. Amplification was a Pre-CBS Fender Bandmaster into a Slash signature series Marshall JCM 800 4X12 cabinet.
