Emperor - Wrath of the Tyrant 1994 [Full Album] - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 26, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
Formed in 1991, Emperor became one of the pioneers of the True Norwegian Black Metal front of the 1990s. Starting with this, their debut demo Wrath of the Tyrant, Emperor became synonymous with the black circle of the underground extreme music scene, alongside their comrades in Mayhem, Enslaved, Darkthrone and Immortal. The scene was meant to be dark, frightening, bizarre and intolerably raw, and that is precisely how the album sounds to an untrained ear. Beneath the mask, however, there lies a creeping talent of musicianship and originality that has contributed to Emperor's living legacy.

This is the Wild Rags Records re-released version of 1994, including two bonus tracks.
