1. There are wounds in His hands, there are wounds in His feet,
And they pierced His blessed side for you and me,
There are stripes on His back, where Pilate had Him lashed,
Wounds of healing, just like Isaiah said:
"With His stripes we are healed."

2. There is healing, in the name of Jesus,
There is healing, in the name of Jesus,
For He died, for you and me, at Calvary.

3. The disciples went from town to town, healing the oppressed,
Just laying hands upon the sick, and Jesus did the rest,
Brother Peter walked upon the streets of Jerusalem,
And his shadow falling on the ground, healed lots of them.

4. Some people say the age of miracles, has all passed away,
But my Bible says that Jesus Christ, is just the same today,
And miracles still happen, all over our land,
In Africa, America, and in Canada.

5. The disciples knew just what it was, that made the people whole,
They knew that Jesus' blood alone, makes atonement for the soul,
And Peter looking back upon that day of Jesus said:
"By His stripes ye were healed."
