DESCRIPTION:
Our fifth session of our "Locals Only" series features none other than Angela Moyra, a young singer songwriter who since recently has had the pleasure of calling Rotterdam her home. Her velvet vocal delivery combined with her Dutch, Indonesian and English heritage result to nostalgic narratives and beautiful melodies.
Accompanied by an acoustic guitar and armed with her faithful ukulele Angela played "Emma's Island" a song about the Indonesian Island of her Grandmother's birth. The setting was provided by "Kop van Zuid" a neighborhood located at the south bank of the Nieuwe Maas , the river flowing through the city, overlooking the Erasmus Bridge.
Angela's Debut album "Fickle" will be released early 2014.
