The Sound:
Elevator Death Squad play their own style of metal, using elements of Thrash, and old school Hardcore, with undertones of Death metal. Their unique sound and fan friendly attitude, has made them a top musical act in a sea of more "popular" music genres and cover bands.
Noteable Shows:
On Aug. 11, 2010 Elevator Death Squad played the "Rock the Block Party" outside the Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls NY. This show was a precursor to the American Carnage tour featuring Slayer, Megadeth, and Testament.Playing 3 hours from their home base, and relatively unknown, EDS captivated much of the audience outside, even maintaining a great crowd after the doors and while Testament took the stage inside.
Sept. 12, 2008 The CD release party for "Manifesto" was held at the Magic City Music Hall in Johnson City, NY. This was one of, if not the most highly attended local shows ever in the area, woth over 600 people in attendance.
Elevator Death Squad has supported National acts such as, Atreyu, GWAR, Unearth, Dying Fetus, Celtic Frost, Goatwhore, Veil of Maya, Carnifex, Belladonna, Brand New Sin, Burning Human, Empire Shall Fall, Dead By Wednesday, Horse The Band, The Rodz, and more.

Press:

"American Carnage was kicked off with Binghamton NY's Elevator Death Squad. After blowing a circuit in the middle of their very first song of the evening, they proceeded to shred through a nearly 2 hour set, priming the fans for what was to come"
Plague - Metal Assault Radio
"They have composed new music over the last five years that is much darker and heavier than any regional metal group has ever touched upon, setting a new standard for the bands that have since emerged in the BC area."
Jerry Macdonnell, Raven's Rock Studios
"It's safe to say that EDS won't be invited on tour with any of today's current crop of glossy MTV bound metalcore outfits with material as downright dark and ugly as "Manifesto""
Randy "The Rocket" Cody - The Metal Den
"Watch out for the Death Squad .they have the potential to go far! Heavy enough for the staunchest death metal fan, yet tasteful and catchy enough for the Godsmack or Disturbed fan, quite simply THESE GUYS ROCK!
Mike Benson, host of "The Metal Meltdown" 92.5 WKGB FM
