Being a rock band in the Bay Area comes with a heavy burden; to live up to the acts that have preceded you while doing something entirely your own. Elephant Hunter has successfully risen up to this charge of creating contemporary rock that is hard hitting, emotionally stirring, and unlike anything of it's kind. By being raised on a healthy diet of bands like Soundgarden, Primus and Tool, Elephant Hunter has mapped a style that is tantalizingly familiar but ultimately unprecedented.
