For anyone interested in the chords for the guitar:

I tuned my guitar to OPEN G and all i do is switch between these two chords:
x00230 and x20230

These are not (by far) the real chords, but they worked for me. This song if full of production so it's really hard to match up to that sound with an acoustic guitar.
