For this years [bas_mrkt] 3 year anniversary we are happy to have SIAN originally from Ireland now living in Barcelona as our special guest brought to you thanks to Lanai, Electric Avenue ATX, Resident Advisor & Octopus Recordings.

Octopus Recordings is Beatpor'ts 5th largest ranked techno label in the world and SIAN as the labels owner is finding himself somewhere between China, South Africa or here in the States every weekend. This event is free and will run from 7pm till 2am with supporting local EAATX dj's Christian Barbuto & Chris Nelson

Chris got started back in 1998, encouraged by his brother to dj his 25th birthday party with only a week to learn … and he's been hooked ever since. He began playing out in Seattle sometime in 1999. He moved back to Austin in 2003 and have been a part of Electric Avenue ATX from early on (thank you, Christian Barbuto). He currently holds monthly residencies at Plush (abstraKt) and Lanai Rooftop Lounge. (bas_mrkt).

EAATX will hold's 8 monthly events and Christian will dj in excess of 100. Christian is newly finding time inside the studio working on collaborative productions on labels Raise Recordings's, Uni.Form, Capital Techno & soon to be Bush. Gaining current inspiration from techno producers such as Joseph Capriati, Nicole Moudaber, Richie Hawtin, Matador, Tim Green, Dosem, Guy Gerber, Maetrik, Boris Brejcha, Christian Smith, Radio Slave and so many more his first official release was made available to the public June of 2012 on Uniform Records and Capital Techno Recordings.
