The Omega electric guitar design is a modern single cutaway with an arched carved top. The finish comes in a pristine gloss black or gloss white. The Mahogany wood's characteristic tone is warm, but well balanced with good grind and bite -- and that is no exception on the Electra Omega. It adds as much to the guitar's tone as it does to the outstanding appearance and feel.

7 Ply Multi-Ply Guitar Binding

Another design upgrade on the Electra Omega is the gorgeous Multi-Ply Binding. Specifically, 7 Ply Multi-Ply White, .75mm/Blk, .5mm/White, .75mm/Blk, .5mm/White, .75mm/Blk, .5mm/White 1.5mm. The contrasting white highlights the gloss black finish enhancing its distinct look even more. (Colors are reversed for the gloss white version.)

TonePros™ Guitar Bridge and Locking Nickel Stop Tailpiece

Electra Guitars designed the inclusion of the TonePros™ Bridge and Locking Nickel Stop Tailpiece. They look great and provide the ultimate in guitar playing performance. This locking style guitar bridge has many improvements over standard models including intonation adjustment on the pickup side; Phillips head saddle adjustment screws, and standard small post and standard threaded insert. While this design has been used by some of the world's top guitars, TonePro's™ hardware greatly enhances the ease of use, reliability, and tone. In our testing we found that they added up to 15% more sustain to the guitar. Also, they don't fall off or move when changing strings.

Electra Guitars MagnaFlux Guitar Pickups

Electra Guitars has introduced the new MagnaFlux Humbuckers on the Omega. These are custom wound Alnico V guitar pickups that provide solid output while retaining excellent highs and aggressive harmonics. Coupled with our two Volume Knobs with push/pull coil splitting for each pickup, they can produce a wide tonal range that sounds great with all types of music and guitar playing styles.
