I saw Julian Lage live with his trio at the Musical Instrument Musuem (MIM). It was incredible.

Julian Lage played his fender telecaster and his improvisation chops are through the roof. The connection he has with bassist Scott Coley and drummer Dave King heightens the performance to an even higher level. Julian got to play Charlie Christian's original hollow body jazz guitar and played solos incorporating elements of jazz, blues, country and the aggression of rock. Julian has masterful control over his guitar tone and dynamics.
