A veteran of the road, EG Kight has headlined at clubs and festivals, bringing her diverse musical menu to the fans in cities across America, and in Europe. EG Kight continues to tour, as a solo and with a band.

Her latest release, "It's Hot In Here" CLIMBED TO NUMBER 1 on the roots blues charts, and on Sirius XM Satellite Radio. Honored with six BLUES MUSIC AWARDS nominations, twice for SONG OF THE YEAR, her songs have a universal reach. Kight's original composition won the PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARS in an international Peace Song Challenge, and she has written songs that landed on two GRAMMY NOMINATED albums.

Multi-talented EG Kight has shared the stage with a wide array of artists, including blues legends Koko Taylor, Hubert Sumlin, and Pinetop Perkins; country legends George Jones, Merle Haggard, Brenda Lee, and Becky Hobbs; pop/crossover icons Phoebe Snow, and Delbert McClinton; southern rock phenoms Gregg Allman, and Little Feat; Dixieland Jazz legend Pete Fountain's band; and most recently the Bloomsburg Symphony Orchestra; and the world renowned Garrison Keillor.

Born and raised in a small town in rural Georgia, Kight still lives on the land that’s been in her family for four generations. Her roots go deep, and that comes through in her music. More than just a STRIKINGLY RICH VOCALIST, from a family of gospel singers, Kight has also mastered the guitar, gaining the attention of TAYLOR GUITARS, who supply her with the tools of her trade.

Though her career began in country music, Kight has broadened her musical scope to include BLUES, AMERICANA, JAZZ, SOUTHERN ROCK, FUNK, GOSPEL and POP. Tying it all together is a deep desire to touch the fans, to take them on the journey with her, to make them feel something, to make them stop and think. Her passion is connecting with the fans, and that passion has taken her across the globe.

Equally as gifted with a camera, Kight’s visual artistry has shown the fans snippets of life on the road. For the last couple of years, Kight's donated photographs have raised hundreds of dollars for non-profit organizations. With several photography exhibits now under her belt, and ever-increasing sales, Kight looks to her next exhibit, where she can share more of her life with the fans, through the visual medium.

Transcending musical boundaries, whether it’s a blues cruise, a songwriters club, an arts festival, or a summer afternoon at the local winery, Kight’s music, fits right in. Perhaps “Sing Out!” magazine said it best –

“Kight’s is a voice to be reckoned with, no matter the genre.”
