Lowell Massachusetts' own Effect has been doing his thing for quite a while. From the moment he picked up the mic at age eight to age twelve when he recorded his first track in his bedroom to home made basement tapes to collaborations with some of Boston's hottest Hip-Hop talent to the self release of his first single "They Want Real / Good Morning America" at age seventeen.

Still in high school he met Boston Music Award Winner D-Tension who produced "They Want Real". Upon completion of the single Effect and D-Tension soon hit the studio to record what would become "The Effect EP", his debut release . Effect then signed with Commonwealth Records to a contract that would give him a 12" single and the release of the EP. The CD was released in August 2005 and featured collaborations with Termanology, Ed Rock (aka Ea$y Money) and Mic Stylz. In two weeks the ep was impossible to find both in stores and on line as it had sold even better than expected. The single "Gotta Be Something" charted at 5 on the International College Radio Charts.

Effect then returned to the studio and began working on his first full length album "Fine Tuned Tantrum"; once again with D-Tension on the boards. This time around effect collaborated with Akrobatik, Krumb Snatcha, K-Soul (of Ill Natural) and Termanology. The album displays Effect's growth as an artist and offers his best material to date. "Fine Tuned Tantrum" also features D-Tension on the mic collaborating with Effect on a cover (yes a cover. not a sample) of Bob Dylan's "It Aint Me, Babe". The duo's chemistry spawned super group "Los Wunder Twins Del Rap". The new project, combines the talent of Effect and D-Tension without duplicating their solo material.

In the summer of 2006 D-Tension and Brick Records released Contacts and Contracts II which featured a track by Effect called "Fuck Friends". This was the first song Effect released in stores world wide. In that same summer Brick Records released D-Tension's second single from C&C2 which featured the popular Wunder Twins song "10 Minutes".

In July of 2007 the group released their first world wide EP "D-Tension and Effect Present. The We Are A Supergroup EP!!!". The EP showcases two tracks from the full length Wunder Twins album "Activate", two tracks from Effect's upcoming album "Fine Tuned Tantrum" and two tracks from D-Tension's upcoming album "Sell Cocaine To The Kids". The first single from the EP "Janie Jones" featured Lenny Lashley on the chorus and received attention from WFNX as well as several other radio stations. The second single "Hunger Strikes" by Effect featuring Termanology and Krumb Snatcha and climbed the internation college radio charts going from 19 to 13 to 8 in three weeks.

The group is now wrapping up their debut album "Activate." In addition to the CD the Wunder Twins are also finishing a full length motion picture called "Cul-De-Sac Of Shattered Hopes" and a series of music videos to be featured on a bonus DVD. Los Wunder Twins Del Rap promise to push the limits of what is currently accepted as "Hip-Hop". 2008 promises to be an even bigger year for Effect than 2007. To Be Continued.
